Charles Llewellyn
Charles Llewellyn has been a business coach and facilitator since 1996. He is a Business Coach and Advisor to Business Leaders. Senior executives that he assists are looking for practical ways of being more effective and successful in their roles. In practice this means having excellent business and personal strategies, and implementing them.
The hardest part is implementation. There are no "prep schools" or MBA programmes that help executives deal with the real business issues that they face on a day to day basis. Leadership roles are completely different from functional business management, and most making the transition have had no preparation whatsoever. Charles helps individuals to make that transition.
Charles has worked in the Royal Navy, commercial banking and performance improvement consulting, with his first appointment to the role of Chief Executive now thirty three years ago. Over the years Charles has held a number of senior positions for Proudfoot PLC, Oman International Development and Investment Co and Chemical Bank, London. Charles is still active as Chairman of two commercial healthcare companies, and a Non Executive Director of an International trade finance bank.
He has been a Chief Executive on an continuous basis since 1978, but in the last ten years has worked with senior executives singly, and in chairing groups working under the umbrella of Vistage International, the world's largest CEO member organisation.
