- We start with a face-to-face discussion with the team leader to review strategic and operational plans, business data, staff surveys etc
- We see each member of the team in order to understand, non-attributably, the full range of business, functional and personal perspectives
- We design objectives and a workshop programme and agree this with the team leader
- We hold the event offsite for 24 hours
- After the event we document the decisions; and we meet the team leader to evaluate the outcome and ensure follow-through
- In order to make real progress over the longer term we typically run these workshops every four months
